Story & Approach

Brian's interest in architecture traces back to his youth. While ultimately deciding on design and advertising as a career path, his creative journey has brought him closer to architecture and the built environment through photography.

He leverages his 20+ years as a designer and art director to capture, curate and edit images. Brian approaches each shoot with the same problem-solving mindset he's honed as a designer. Shooting almost exclusively with ambiant light, Brian uses artificial light only in unique situations.

I can add depth to an existing creative team or engage as a trusted partner to consistently bring missing services in-house. My experience working in traditional agency environments, working in-house and working as a consultant enables me to get up to speed quickly and hit the ground running. In short, there aren't too many situations I haven't seen. I live by a no ego and no bullshit mantra. I place equal value on my clients experience of working with me and the final output of work.

Businesses typically come to me when they are ready to show up in a new way. We'll define or clarify the problem needing to be solved and move forward with clarity and purpose. When needed, I can tap into my network to bring senior-level talent onboard as business needs evolve.
Getting in on the ground floor to help shape a story or validate the viability of an idea is about as fun as it gets. I'll work at the appropriate speed and right level of fidelity based on where you are at and where you need to go.

I can partner with technology teams to elevate a product's visual language while connecting it to a new or existing visual brand language. While not a deep UX practitioner, my experience in UX/UI can help alleviate resource and budget constraints. I have experience building proof-of-concepts, prototypes, making iterative changes and delivering assets for launch.
